LAWRENCEVILLE – Shirley Nesmith Jordan, 77, died Sunday, May 8, 2011.
She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She was a member of the Red Hats Society of Lawrenceville and loved camping on Lake Lanier. Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by a son, Claude (Ricky) Roland Brannen Jr.

She loved her grandchildren as well as traveling to the beach, going to the lake and listening to music. She was employed at the Pilot in Braselton.

BRASELTON – Eddie Lewis “Buck” Clark, 81, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011.
Born in Morgan County, he was the son of the late Lamar Walker and Selma Hulsey Clark. He was a truck driver and the former owner of the Eddie’s Drive-In in Braselton and was a member of the New Liberty United Methodist Church. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by wives, Mary Ellen Clark and Bettie Sparks Clark; daughter, Betty Ruth Rouse; sister, Sarah Jones; and a brother, Dale Clark.
Survivors include grandchildren, Matthew and Joanna Rouse, Tabatha and Jonathan Frazier, Troy and Robin Rouse, all of Braselton; son-in-law, Larry and Judy Rouse, Braselton; and six great-grandchildren.

He was the son of the late Bernard Wilson and Julia Lamb Cotter. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was retired from Motorola, Inc. after 35 years of service. He coached Little League Baseball and Basketball for 11 years. He was a member of the Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church in Dacula. Mr. Cotter was preceded in death by a brother, Reginald Edwin Cotter. His family was his life, loved ones stated.

BRASELTON – William Taylor Cooper, 84, Braselton, died Thursday, February 17, 2011.
Born in Braselton, he was the son of the late Lester Mayzo and Ida Hyder Cooper. He was a retired farmer, of the Baptist denomination and was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Cooper and sister, Frances Kemp.
Survivors include his sisters, Lester May Wayne, Gainesville, and Anne L. Cooper, Atlanta; brothers, Cooledge Cooper, Braselton, and Jack Cooper, Gainesville; several nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and nephews.
