COLBERT – Nancy Carmell Joiner, 81, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009.
Born on May 10, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Linda Keith. She was the loving wife of 58 years to Thomas Joiner, and was a member of Comer Baptist Church.
Survivors including her husband are a son, Thomas G. Joiner; daughters, Connie J. Lamas and Beth Gilmore; brother, Donald Keith; eight grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9, at 11 a.m., at Comer Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Owens officiating. Burial will be in Comer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 8, from 6 to 8 p.m.
