Annie Inez Briscoe, 89, of Winder, died Saturday, June 7, 2008.
A native of Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late James G. and Emma Ola Peppers McDaniel. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and Bible School for 31 years. She was a retiree of Carwood Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Briscoe was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Raymond Briscoe.
Survivors include three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 11 at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
