Stanley Eugene Wilcox, 78, of Jefferson, died Thursday, January 1, 2009.
Born on May 20, 1931, in Hot Springs, S.D., he was the son of the late James and Thelma Clemens Wilcox. He was in management with J.C. Penney Company and was a member of the Rock of Ages Lutheran Church in Stone Mountain. He was the owner of Eugene’s Interiors in Stone Mountain and was a member of the United States Army Reserves, serving during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Kay Wilcox, Jefferson; daughters, Debbie Riehle and Tina Corbin, both of Jefferson, Janine Liakos, St. Augustine, Fla., Caryn Cameron, Stone Mountain; sisters, Delores Schooler and Joyce Owensby, both of Bremerton, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
