Mary Jane Jenkins

Mary Jane Jenkins, 88, of Winder, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Born in Kansas City, MO.

She was the daughter of the late Alfred N. and Irene Hyde Young. She was preceded in death by a son, Barry Krems. Mrs. Jenkins was formerly of Kailua Kona, HI, she was a member of The Calvary Community Church, Kailua Kona, HI, led Bible Study, and was a volunteer Chaplain at Kona Community Hospital.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Helen Arnold Person, Winder; son, John Krems, daughter Sharon Vasconcellos , both of Kau, HI; step-son, Robson K. Hind, Honolulu, HI; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 14 great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2009, at 11 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church, Winder, with the Rev. Terry Tippens officiating. The body will be cremated.
