Brittane Nichole Brown, 14, of Hoschton, died Saturday, December 27, 2008.

She was the daughter of Shannon Poole Brown and Terrance Shanard Brown. She attended Jackson County Comprehensive High School, where she participated in basketball. She loved life, spending time with friends, dancing, listening to music, and track, loved ones stated.

Survivors in addition to her parents, include a sister, Kayla Leah Brown; grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Benji Boone officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brittane Brown Memorial Fund, c/o Northeast Georgia Bank, P.O. Box 130, Braselton, Ga. 30517.

Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.

Brittane was an awesome girl. I didnt know her too well but we talked. every time saw her she was just full of life and yeah we will miss that but if you have god in your heart you will see her one day.

I miss you Brittane but i know i will see you again someday.

This full of life young girl did not have to die this way and I blame the few people who know who they are so I need not to say names. She was loved by many and will be missed everyday from here on out.

We all know how much Brittane was full of life and will be missed by so many. Matthew, her family needs to know what you know so they can have some peace. Brittane' and I have grew up together. We've lived next door to eachother for as long as I can remember. It's so different not seeing her around, not seeing her make my day. There isn't a day that goes by and she doesn't go through my head. I love her dearly. She knows she's loved, and I know for sure i'll see her again one day.

I met brittane at he beginning of theschool year when
i move to jackson couty. and the first day of school
me and her were very close i miss her VERY much! And
its not easy seeing someone that close to you pass on.
it was probably one of the hardest and saddest deaths
i have ever had to go threw. and i just hope that
everyday when she's holding jesus's hand in heaven and
lookin down on us that she misses all of us like we miss
her and always will. I love you Britt! So much! :))

Its been almost a year now and you still always on my mind. I think about you all the time and how I never got to give you a proper good bye. Knowing that I will see you again I love you Brittane and miss seeing you smiling face.

its been a year. it honestly dont feel real at times. brittane was my best friend and my little sister. she always knew how to make me laugh when i was down. we had our good and bad times. my family thought the world of her and still does. she was always there for me no matteer what went on. i faught for brittane at school lost and still would fight for her to this day. i love and miss her and i just wih she was still here. sometimes i feel like sheright next to me. i love and miss her so much.
