William Robert “Bobby” Kirk, 54, of Danielsville, died Sunday, December 29, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Larue County, Ky., on January 16, 1954, he was the son of the late David Hadden and Lettie Blanche McCurdy Kirk. He was a shop worker, having worked with Electric Motor Company, and was a member of the Community Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Adams Kirk, Danielsville; a daughter, Lacey Kirk, Danielsville; grandson, Hayden Kirk, Danielsville; brother, Ronnie H. Kirk, Danielsville; and sisters, Rachel Hunsinger, Athens, Lettie Sue Abercrombie, Danielsville, and Jeanette King, Hull.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 30, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Peek officiating. Burial was in the Kirk Family Cemetery in Colbert.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
