David Glenn Davis, 54, of Jefferson, died Friday, December 26, 2008.

Born in Atlanta, he was the son of the Edna Beatrice Davis of Monroe and the late Samuel Davis. He was a truck driver with Davis Delivery Service, and was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Randall Davis.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Donna Thompson Davis, Jefferson; son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Shauna Davis, Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Alden and Brody Davis, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a brother, Edwin Davis, Jefferson.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 29, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home. Burial was in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville.

Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
