Ralph Thomas Demers, 77, of Royston, died Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Pawtucket, R.I. on April 12, 1931, he was the son of the late Ralph Thomas and Teresa Morris Demers. He was a business unit manager, having worked with Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hartwell. Mr. Demers was a veteran, having served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Demers, Royston; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Janet Demers, Royston, Gary and Sherry Demers, Pelzer, S.C., and Kevin and Cindy Demers, Hartwell; daughters and sons-in-law, Maureen and Nathan Berryman, Danielsville, Kathy and Mitchell Phillips and Lori and John Boy, all of Royston; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Demers wishes were to be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
