Annabell Mobley Murdock, 96, of Commerce, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at BJC Medical Center in Commerce.
She was born on July 30, 1911, the daughter of the late Ike and Olive Howze Mobley. She was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Murdock was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Cecil Murdock; and two young children.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Buddy C. and Clarice Murdock, Commerce; brother, Don Mobley, Archer City, Texas; grandson and wife, Steven and Gina Murdock, Colorado; granddaughter and husband, Luanne and Kenneth Pendley, Commerce; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews in Texas.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 6, at 11 a.m., at the Beaverdam Baptist Church with the Rev. Chad Payne officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 5, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
