Anna M. Burton, 80, of Commerce, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at BJC Hospital in Commerce.
Born in Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Henry Daily and Cora Ada Shown Myers. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Frank Burton Jr.
Survivors include daughters, Linda T. McGinnis, Charleston, S.C., Janet Childress, Hernando, Miss., Sandra B. Pounds, Hoschton; a son, John F. Burton III, Hernando, Miss.; brother, Walter J. Myers, Johnson City, Tenn.; grandchildren, Lance McGinnis, Kelly M. Thiel, Joshua Childress, Deb Pounds, Heather Wright; great-grandchildren, Rachel McGinnis, Colby Wright, Marley Thiel.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 7, at 10 a.m., at the Floral Hills Cemetery in Tucker. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, June 6, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
