Hazel Bond, 71, of Hartwell, died Friday, December 12, 2008, at her residence.
Born in Franklin County on November 10, 1937, she was the daughter of the late O.B. and Emmer Hayes Starrett.
Mrs. Bond was the sister of Wayne Starrett of Royston; and sister of Linda Thomason and Faye Meadows, both of Royston.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 16, at 2 p.m., at the Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Revs. Randal Starrett, Charles White and Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, is in charge of arrangements.
