Carol Brantly

Carol N. Clemons Brantly, 70, of Royston, died Saturday, December 13, 2008.

Born in Fulton County, on February 27, 1938, she was the daughter of Trudy Huckabee Clemons and the late Joseph Winslow Clemons. She worked in the trust department for SunTrust Bank and was Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Brantly, Royston; sons, Roy F. Brantly, Greer, S.C., and Chris Brantly, Spartanburg, S.C.; brother, Jerry Clemons, Royston; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 17, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Revs. Malcolm Herndon and Ken Brewer officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
