Emmett Allen, 76, of Clarkesville, died Monday, December 15, 2008, at his residence, following an extended illness.

Born in Habersham County on January 29, 1932, he was the son of the late Milton and Callie Waldrop Allen.
Mr. Allen was the father of Steve Allen of Baldwin.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 17, at 11 a.m., at River Road Mission.

McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home, Cornelia, is in charge of arrangements.
