Marie Ann Smith, 80, of Gainesville, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at New Horizon’s West Nursing Home on Dawsonville Highway, following an extended illness.
Born in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Hershel and Lila Mae Culpepper Smith.
Miss Smith was the aunt of Judy Standridge of Braselton; and great-aunt of Brandon Standridge, Courtney Standridge, and Cindy Morris, all of Braselton, and Allyson Antwine of Hoschton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 11, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Revs. Steve Fenlon and Ronnie Wells officiating. Burial will be at Airline Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
