Clara Nell Weaver, 85, of Winder, died Saturday, December 6, 2008.
Born in Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Susie Vandiver Banks. She was a member of Winder First Christian Church and the Eastern Star. Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Weaver.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Edward and Mary Catherine O’Kelley, Snellville; grandchildren, Will O’Kelley and Catherine Fore; brother, Ernest Banks, Huntsville; and a sister, Marie Hardigree, Watkinsville.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, December 14, at 2 p.m. at the Winder First Christian Church. The body was cremated.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Barrow County, 1684 Barnett Shoals Rd., Athens, Ga. 30605.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
