David Wayne McCune, 58, of Comer, died Saturday, May 31, 2008.

A native of Athens, he was the son of the late Clarence Edward and Annie “Gann” McCune. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert C. “Bobby” McCune.

Survivors include sisters, Joyce Dillard, Hull, Betty Escoe, Decatur; brothers, Donald E. and Jerry E. McCune, both of Athens.

Graveside services were held Monday, June 2, at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
