Jerry F. Alexander, 61, of Winder, died Monday, November 29, 2008.
He was the son of Mary Alexander of Athens and the late Robert E. Alexander. He was a member of Chapel Christian Church, and was a self-employed automobile appraiser. Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane Willoughby Alexander.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Karen Smith Alexander; daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and Chris Royal, Kelly and Jason McDaniel, all of Winder; son and daughter-in-law, Wes and Hollie Baird, Royston; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Donice Alexander, Winder; grandchildren, Alexa Royal, Carson Royal, Chance Bragg and Calin Baird.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 2, at 3:30 p.m., in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
