Jeffrey Wolford

Kent Jeffrey Wolford, 47, of Commerce, died Thursday, November 27, 2008.

A native of Orange County, Fla., he was the son of Eula J. Parker of Winterville and the late Clarence Washington Wolfold and step-son to the late Charles Parker. He attended Cedar Shoals High School. Mr. Wolford was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Parker.

Survivors in addition to his mother, include children, Garret Jeffrey Wolford, Kent Dustin Wolford and April Lynn Wolford, all of Commerce; brothers, Charles Huckabay, Ellington, Fla., Terry Wolford, Scot Wolford, both of Winterville, Mike Parker and John Parker, both of Bishop; nephews and nieces, Joe Huckabay, Winterville, Karen Quarles, Loganville, Kim Barnet, Lexington, Alan Wolford, Adam Wolford, both of Bishop, Stephanie Baird, Kirsten Wolford, both of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and many cousins.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 30, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to SunTrust Bank, 180 Gaines School Rd., Athens, Ga. 30605, for an educational fund for his children.
