Carolyn Gentry

Carolyn Marie Gentry, 66, of Winder, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008.

Born in Fort Deposit, Ala., she was preceded in death by her parents, was Baptist, and a member of the Dacula First Baptist Church, the Joy Sunday School Class. She was retired as a food service worker with Winder Barrow High School.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest Gentry, Winder; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Cathy Gentry, Auburn, Kenny and Kathy Gentry, Greenville, S.C., and Tracy Gentry, Winder; granddaughter, Daniele Marie Gentry, Auburn; brother and sister-in-law, Renza and Gayle Bowen, Alexander City, Ala.; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and John Hull, Melbourne, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 30, at 2 p.m. at Dacula First Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Chandler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
