Tommy Roger Hendrix, 67, of Royston, died Monday, November 24, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Jackson County on December 22, 1940, he was the son of the late Tom Bell and Flora Lula Nicholson Hendrix. He was formerly the owner and operator of the Van Conversion Industry and was a member of Royston Church of God. Mr. Hendrix was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond and Don Hendrix.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Hart Hendrix, Royston; son and daughter-in-law, Roger Dale and Robin Hendrix, Dewy Rose; daughter and son-in-law, Renae Hendrix and Greg Clark, Goldsboro, N.C.; grandchildren and spouses, Chris and Tasha Hendrix, Josh and Tracy Hendrix; Leigh Ann and Matt Bartlett, Lindsey Clark, Savannah, Zack and Thatcher Hendrix; great-grandchildren, Mia Hendrix and Owen Hendrix; and a brother, Jack Hendrix, Bowmam.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, November 26, at the Royston Church of God with the Rev. James Gunn officiating.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
