James Otis Everett, 81, of Bethlehem, died Sunday, November 23, 2008.
Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Greene and Della Miller Everett. He was a veteran, having served during World War II. Mr. Everett was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Larson.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Everett, Stone Mountain; sons, Mike Everett and Chuck Everett, both of Bethlehem; daughters, Angela Lovins, Stone Mountain, Lisa Everett, St. Mary’s, and Gina Everett, Tampa, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Myrtle Dunahoo and Katie Banks, both of Winder.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 26, at 2 p.m., at Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Butch Dunahoo officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 25, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
