Bernice Martin Mooney, 78, of Lilburn, died Monday, November 24, 2008, at Embracing Hospice in Snellville, following an extended illness.

Born in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Henry V. and Roxie Jones Martin.
Mrs. Mooney was the step-grandmother of Melissa Williams of Winder.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 26, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Ruell Martin officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville, is in charge of arrangements.
