Tom Watson “Papa” Dooley, 85, of Watkinsville, died Thursday, November 20, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens.

Born and raised in Oconee County, he was the son of the late Melvin D. and Susie S.C. Stewart Dooley.

Mr. Dooley was the father of Patricia (Jerrie) and Lane Teet of Colbert.

Memorial services were held Sunday, November 23, 2008, at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home East.
