Minnie Phillips, 89, of Statham, died Thursday, November 13, 2008.
She was born on March 5, 1919, in Alexander City, Ala., the daughter of the late Mannie and Bertha Harris and was Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, McKinley Phillips Jr.
Survivors include sons, Paul Harris and Eugene Billups; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Townsend and Mary Boleware; true and faithful friend, John Leonard; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 17, at Faith Baptist Church. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery in Alabama.
Eberhart & Son Mortuary, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
