Edward Scarbrough, 73, of Comer, died Tuesday, November 18, 2008.
Born on August 14, 1935, he was the son of the late G.B. and Donize Scarbrough. He was Baptist and was a member of Meadow Baptist Church. He was retired from SunTrust Bank.
Survivors include his wife, Myra Scarbrough; sons and daughter-in-law, Eddie P. Scarbrough, Greg and Melinda Horne, and Evan Horne; daughter and son-in-law, Joy S. and Allen Floyd; sister, Debra Ellen Williams; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 20, at 2 p.m. at Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Sarna officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, November 19, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
