Vera B. Adams, 98, of Gainesville, died Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at New Horizons North Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Born in Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Emory and Delia Fangans Bagwell.
Mrs. Adams was the grandmother of Ken and Debbie Morrison of Lula; great-grandmother of LeAnne Morrison of Lula; and great-great-grandmother of Jenna Sanders of Lula.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 20, at 2 p.m., at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. James McNeal and Bill McDougal officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville, is in charge of arrangements.
