Andrew Jackson “Jack” Powers, 69, of Gainesville, died Friday, November 14, 2008, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, following injuries sustained in a car accident.

Born on April 25, 1939, in Hall County, he was the son of the late Andrew and Lula Wheeler Powers.

Mr. Powers was the father of Eva Charlene (Tina) and Daniel Christian of Danielsville; grandfather of Joshua Brian Keith and Emily Christian of Hull, and Christopher, Jack and Ashley Christian, of Danielsville.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 18, in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.
