Inez Brown

Helen Inez Osley Brown, 90, of Royston, died Sunday, November 9, 2008, at the Hart Care Center in Hartwell.

Born in Madison County on April 5, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Clifford R. and Parrie Seigler Osley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bowman. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Brown; brothers, Murlyn and Charles Osley; and a sister, Wynna King.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Larry O. and Inez Brown, Royston; grandchildren and spouses, David Coleman and Mira D. Brown, Greta Brown and Chris Whitworth; and great-grandchildren, Garrett Whitworth and Kylie Whitworth.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 11, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Revs. Chris Pritchett and Charles Holland officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery in Bowman.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
