Louise Jeanell Howard, 67, of Comer, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008, at her residence.
Born in Comer, she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Minnie Lou Gaines Arnold. She was a very active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Danielsville, where she was known as the “Hat Lady.” Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her husband, Marcellous Howard Sr. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, loved ones stated.
Survivors include sons, Marcellous Howard Jr., Savannah, Sean Saylors, Comer; a daughter, Loretta Stevens, Comer; sisters, Sarah Howard, Oglethorpe, Virginia Grant and Ruby Foust, both of Comer, Leatrice Barnett, Colbert; brother, Julius Arnold, Colbert; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Saturday, November 8, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
