Albert Thomas Baugh, 77, of Comer, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008.
A native and longtime resident of Madison County, he was the son of the late Heddler and Cordie Graham Baugh. Mr. Baugh was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Phillips Baugh; daughter, Pat Berryman Ridley; sister, Minnie Bell Crawford; and a brother, James Baugh. He was a member of Bluestone Baptist Church and was retired from Atlantic Steel Company after 30 years. He was a farmer and a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include a son, Albert “Tommy” Baugh Jr., Comer; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Bobby Yarbrough, Danielsville, Terrie and Jurgen Neidhardt, Ft. Myers, Fla., Marie and Jack Anderson, Comer; sister, Pauline Royston, Loganville; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 7, at Bluestone Baptist Church with the Revs. Ray Jenkins, George Lovely and Talmadge Ethridge officiating. Burial was in Meadow Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeremy Sexton, Bryan Christian, Bobby Yarbrough Jr., Alan Brown, Clay Strickland, Bays Anderson, Max Baugh, Zachary Wagner and Hunter Anderson.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
