Amy Dodd Sherwood, 87, of Gainesville, died Saturday, November 8, 2008, following an extended illness.

Born in Buford, she lived the past 20 years in the metro Atlanta area.

Mrs. Sherwood was the sister of Helen and Vanus Braswell of Jefferson.

Funeral services were held at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 12.
