Ray Armstrong, 92, of Auburn, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
He was the son of the late Ellic Armstrong and was a member of Auburn First Baptist Church. He was retired from Avondale Mills.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Armstrong, Auburn; niece, Jan Cruse, Auburn; great-nephews, Bryant Cruse and Tommy Cruse; great-niece, Elizabeth Woodard; eight great-great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-great nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 6, at Smith Memory Chapel with the Revs. Robert Whitehead and Chris Perkins officiating. Burial was in Barrow Memorial Gardens.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
