Charles DeWayne Hough, 74, of Winder, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
Born in Ohio County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Wayne Walter and Thelma Roberts Hough. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Hough, Winder; a son, David Hough, Athens; daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Louis Hercurles, Tamara and Bill Lawhorne, Wheeling, W.Va., Susan and Keith Chapman, Winder, Laurie and Ali Zulifiqar, Norcross, Rachel and Daniel Gartias, Norcross, and Jennifer Hough, Swannee; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Thomas Hough, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 8, at 2 p.m., at Smith Memory Chapel. The body is to be cremated. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on the day of the service at the funeral home.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
