Rick Hough, 64, of Auburn, died Sunday, November 2, 2008.
Born in Richmond, Va., he was the son of the late Earle and Mildred Miles Hough and step-mother Pearl Hough. He was a member of Spirit of Joy Church in Flowery Branch and was a retired maintenance supervisor from Heraeus Amersil in Buford. Mr. Hough was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam, receiving an Air Force Commendation Medal. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion in Duluth.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Hough, Auburn; daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and Arnie Vandemark, Capar, Mich., Nicole and Kristian Robben, Decatur, and Kimberly Morrison, Kila, Mont.; grandchildren, Arnie, Arla and Autumn Vandemark; great-grandchildren, Tyler Vandemark, Christopher and Maverick Rivard; brother, Doug Hough, Maryland; and a sister, Marilyn Pell, Pennsylvania.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 7, at 2 p.m. at Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Goren Dodson officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 6, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
