Lula Mae Blalock, 88, of Gainesville, died Monday, November 3, 2008, at Willow Wood Nursing Home, following an extended illness.
She was born on March 5, 1920, in Hall County, the daughter of the late Horld and Ethel Chumbler Morris.
Mrs. Blalock was the mother of Mary and Homer Howington of Braselton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 6, at 2 p.m., at Temple Baptist Church with Dr. James Ransom and the Rev. Marvin Harris officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
