Cecil Loraine Saylors, 82, of Braselton, died Saturday, May 31, 2008, at her residence, following an extended illness.
She was the daughter of the late William and Lizzie Standridge LeCroy and was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Saylors; a son, Larry Dooley; and daughters, Willie Bell Greenway and Sara LeCroy; and a brother, Edward LeCroy.
Survivors include sons, Luther Lee Dooley, Braselton, David Saylors, Commerce, and Daniel Saylors, Lavonia; daughters, Brenda Fitzgerald, Homer, Debra Peck, Pendergrass, Mattie Lou LeCroy, Townsville, S.C.; brothers, Gene LeCroy, Anderson, S.C., Curtis LeCroy, Townsville, S.C., and Jimmy LeCroy, Belton, S.C.; sisters, Louise Busby, Royston, Willie Mae Graham, Townsville, S.C., JoAnn Skelton and Shirley Holcombe, both of Anderson, S.C., Ruth Page, Belton, S.C.; 50 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 4, at 2 p.m., at Holy Ground Baptist Church with the Revs. Paul Moore and Clinton Gooch officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Baptist Church cemetery.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
