Earnest Junior Nix, 64, of Cornelia, died Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital, following a sudden illness.

He was born in Habersham County on December 17, 1943, the son of Willene Mote Nix of Cornelia and the late J.B. Nix.
Mr. Nix was the father of Kim Nix of Danielsville.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 1, in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home.

McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home, Cornelia, was in charge of arrangements.
