Thelma Palmer Allen, 90, of Cleveland, died Saturday, November 1, 2008, at the Oak Heritage Health Care following an extended illness.

Born in White County, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Mattie Jenkins Palmer.
Mrs. Allen was the mother of Tony Allen of Lula.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, November 4, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with the Revs. Dennis Turner and Michael Wilkes officiating. Burial will be in Cleveland Cemetery.

Barrett Funeral Home, Cleveland, is in charge of arrangements.
