Gerald Burtchaell

Gerald Daly Burtchaell Sr., 66, of Maysville, died early Friday morning at Lanier Park Hospital in Gainesville.

Born in Fulton County, he was the son of the late William Daly and Willena Whatley Burtchaell. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy.

Survivors include sons, Gerald Daly Burtchaell Jr., Maysville, Chad Burtchaell, Venus, Fla., Robert Burtchaell, Riverdale; daughters, Sheryl Burtchaell, Gillsville, Leah Jo Turk, Braselton, Kaya Jane Harris, Maysville; brother, Bill Burtchaell, St. Petersburg, Fla.; sister, Barbara Trotter, Jonesboro; and four grandchildren.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
