Samuel Wood

Samuel Marvin Wood, 50, of Hoschton, died Thursday, October 23, 2008.

He was a member of Rock Baptist Tabernacle in Lawrenceville and enjoyed fishing, music and loved animals, loved ones stated.

Survivors include his fiancé, Vicky Povolny, Hoschton; step-children, Heather Elem and Tosha Povolny, both of Jefferson, Breanne Povolny, Hoschton; brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Becky Wood, Snellville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jan and John Johnson, Maysville, Theresa and Sam Hulsey, Hoschton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 27, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Marshall Yancey officiating. Burial was at Barrow Memorial Gardens in Winder.

Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, was in charge of arrangements.
