COMMERCE - Pauline G. “Billie” Williams, 90, died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at her residence.
Mrs. Williams was born in Quitman, Miss., the daughter of the late Alman and Dora Elizabeth Prouty Graham. She was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Franklin Williams, Jr.; and brothers, Carlin Alman Graham, James “Red” Graham, and Thomas Lee Graham.
Survivors include daughters, Juanelle Allen and Maureen Bass, both of Commerce; sons, Joseph Franklin Williams, III, Goshen, Ky., and William G. Williams, Athens; brother, Curtis Henry Graham, Meridian, Miss.; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services in Commerce, will be at 3 p.m., Monday, March 17, at Madison Street Baptist Church with the Revs. Larry Montgomery and Gerry Wiley officiating. Following the services in Georgia, funeral services in Quitman, Miss. will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, at Elam Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Elam Baptist Church Cemetery.
