NICHOLSON - Rachel Ann Burt, 75, died Saturday, February 8, 2014.

She was born in Walton County on June 27, 1938, the daughter of the late Leamon Head Elmer Malcom.

Survivors include John Lewis Burt, Nicholson; daughters and sons-in-law, Veda and Brad Smith, Nicholson, and Marlene and Mike Wade, Nicholson; sons and daughters-in-law, Gwen and Debra Burt, Monroe, Bill and Tina Burt, Cleveland, Tenn., Jimmy Burt, Nicholson, and Rev. Robert Burt and Joy Burt, Danielsville; brother and sister-in-law, Elmer and Sue Malcom, Douglasville; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 11, in the chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Revs. Robert Burt and Glendon Williams officiating. Interment was at Hill Haven Memory Gardens.

Meadows Funeral Home, Monroe, was in charge of arrangements.
