MONROE – Kendra H. Ferguson, 51, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014.
She was the daughter of Charles and Carolyn Harrison of Bethlehem. A loving mother and avid golfer, she was a past member of the Bethlehem First United Methodist Church, past president of the Walton County Historical Society, Monroe G&CC Lady’s Golf Association, and various breast cancer support groups, including ACS Relay for Life and Susan G. Komen Foundation 3-day “Babes for Boobs” walk team. She was previously employed by Athens First Bank & Trust in Monroe as a branch manager/asst. vice president.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband, Mitch Ferguson, Monroe; son and daughter-in-law, Jordy and B.J. Ferguson, Monroe; and a sister, Kim Judy, Monroe.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 10, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Gordon Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
