COMER – Jack Quincey Coile, 88, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014, at the St. Mary’s Hospice House in Bogart.
He was born in Comer on January 8, 1926, the son of the late Plumer and Dezzie Drake Coile. He was an automotive paint and body technician, having worked for Andrews and Coile Body Shop. He was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Comer.
Mr. Coile was twice married, first to the late Jeanette Dixon Coile, and remarried to Dorothy Christian Coile of Comer.
Survivors in addition to his wife include daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Wilder Bailey, Watkinsville, and Jackie and Dean Andrews, Comer; grandchildren, Jon Andrews, Shannon Andrews Ruff, and Jodee Waddell White; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 10, at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Reggie Vaughn officiating. Burial was in the Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
