DANIELSVILLE - Peggy Montez Edmonds Adams, 81, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at her residence.
She was born in Royston on May 3, 1932, the daughter of the late Cleo and Carrie Booth Graham. She was an insurance clerk having worked at the Ty Cobb Hospital and a member of the Franklin Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas “Bill” Adams; daughter, Sheryl McDaniel, Clayton; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Jean Edmonds, Danielsville, Tim and Grace Edmonds, Watkinsville, and Jeff Edmonds, Athens; sister, Fredonia Graham, Royston; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, January 10, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel in Royston. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, at the Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston. The family is at the home.
