MAYSVILLE - William Charles Haulbrook, 92, died Sunday, December 8, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Haulbrook was born in Maysville, the son of the late Robert Lester and Annie Mae Stevens Haulbrook. He was a member of Maysville Baptist Church and was a United States Navy veteran. He was a World War II submariner on the USS Seahorse. He worked as a machinist. Mr. Haulbrook was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Leone Anderson Haulbrook; daughter, Kathryn Langley; son, Charles Stanley Haulbrook; sister, Robbie Kirk; grandson, William Robert Haulbrook; and brother, Donald Haulbrook.
Survivors include sons, Robert Larry Haulbrook (Tess), Maysville, and William Christopher Haulbrook (Pam), Marietta; sister, Frances Gowder, Macon; brother, Harold Haulbrook (Joyce), Spring, Texas; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 12 noon, Thursday, December 12, at Maysville Baptist Church with Dr. Brian Stowe and the Rev. David Sharpton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, December 11, from 6 to 8 p.m.
