DACULA - Brett Morgan, 29, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013.
He enjoyed many hobbies, including playing guitar, hunting, fishing, camping, cooking, making pickles, carving pumpkins, playing horse shoes, and bluegrass music. Brett was a very soft, kindhearted person. He always had a smile on his face that would light up a room. He was very loved and touched the hearts of several people. He could brighten up anyone’s day with his laughter and great sense of humor. He was a good, strong man with a big heart. He will forever be missed by so many.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his fiancé, Kingsley Gingerich; stepson, Brantley Griffith; father and stepmother, Thomas Brian and Lisa Morgan; mother and stepfather, Jill Morgan and Larry Gooch; and grandparents, Doris and Tom Morgan and Syble and Ralph Chastain.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 15, and 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 16, at the funeral home.
