WINDER – Al Reynolds, 84, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013, in Winder.
He was the son of the late Homer Albon and Ruby Fulton Reynolds. He was of the Baptist denomination and a member of Barrow Worship Center. He retired as a welder for Atlantic Steel and was a former union representative for the United Steel Union. He sung gospel music for 64 years, singing with Caynon Bound and New Spirits. Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Waits, Statham; son, Steve Gerald Reynolds, Nicholson; two daughters, Daryle Reynolds, Douglasville, and Melanie Reynolds, Bold Springs; brother, Bill Reynolds, San Antonio, Texas; sister-in-law, Dottie Reynolds; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 3, in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Reese officiating.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
