CARNESVILLE - William "Bill" Ralph Robarts, Jr., 76, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013.
He was born in Tampa, Fla., the son of the late William Ralph Robarts, Sr., and Clarice Parker Robarts. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was retired from Jackson County Correctional Institute as a corrections officer, with many years of service. Mr. Robarts was preceded in death by a grandson, Will Robarts.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Rose Marie Robarts, Carnesville; son, Bill Robarts, Plant City, Fla.; three step daughters, Kimberly White, Tampa, Fla., Elizabeth Irene Brannon, Pendergrass, and Patricia Ann Soto, Tampa, Fla.; brother, Kenneth Robarts, Carnesville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
The family will receive friends on Saturday November 2, at from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Saturday at Mt. Creek Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the visitation.
